Transfer Buzz: Bellingham’s Future, Kounde’s Dilemma, and More
Jude Bellingham is making headlines as he gears up to secure his future with Real Madrid, reportedly extending his contract until 2031. At just 23, the England midfielder is already a key component of the squad at the Bernabeu.
Meanwhile, Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in bringing Kevin Schade from Brentford but will need to fork out over £60 million to make it happen. The German winger, 24, has been turning heads and could be a hot property this transfer window.
Leeds United are keeping an eye on Igor Paixao, the Brazilian forward currently at Marseille. The 26-year-old could be available as Marseille looks to balance their finances, making him an intriguing option for the Yorkshire club.
There’s also interest in Jules Kounde from several top clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich. The French defender, 27, is contemplating his future at Barcelona, and with so many eyes on him, a move could be on the cards.
In the youth ranks, Barcelona is reportedly not keen on entering a bidding war for 16-year-old JJ Gabriel from Manchester United, as both Real Madrid and PSG are willing to pay more. Barcelona seems cautious about their financial strategy amid interest in emerging talents.
Newcastle is still in negotiations with Joe Willock but has yet to secure the 27-year-old midfielder's future. Despite the backing of manager Matthias Jaissle, it seems a new contract is still a work in progress.
On the managerial front, Daniel Farke has confirmed his commitment to Leeds by signing a new contract that will keep him at Elland Road until 2029. The German coach is looking to build on his early success with the club.
In Germany, Bayern Munich's sporting director Max Eberl has hinted that discussions with Harry Kane about a new contract are progressing well. However, there hasn’t been a formal agreement just yet, keeping fans on their toes.
In Italy, AC Milan's Fikayo Tomori, 28, is set to leave at the season's end after failing to reach a new deal. The former Chelsea defender will be looking for new opportunities once his contract expires.
Lastly, Real Madrid is considering a loan move for Brahim Diaz in January as he finds himself lower in the pecking order behind 20-year-old Endrick. The Moroccan forward, 27, may need to seek more playing time elsewhere.
