Rangers Rise to the Top with 3-1 Victory Over Kilmarnock
Rangers put on a show at Ibrox, defeating Kilmarnock 3-1 in a thrilling clash on Saturday afternoon.
Ryan Naderi was the star of the show, scoring two impressive headers in the first half to bring his season total to six goals. Kevin Kelsy also joined the scoresheet before halftime, helping Rangers secure three vital points.
This win marks Rangers' sixth consecutive league triumph and their seventh overall, propelling them to the top of the Scottish Premiership. However, they narrowly missed out on a clean sheet as Kilmarnock's Nicky Clescenco scored a late consolation in the dying moments of the match.
Manager Derek McInnes will have some concerns after a lackluster second-half display from his team, as Kilmarnock, sitting at the bottom of the table, created several chances. Ultimately, they managed to get one back, but it was too little too late.
Despite the final score, Kilmarnock ended with six shots on target compared to Rangers' four, with home goalkeeper Ivor Pandur only facing real pressure once before conceding.
